Jane’s Addiction Cancels Concert Following On-Stage Altercation
Rock band Jane’s Addiction has announced the cancellation of their upcoming concert after an on-stage confrontation between band members Dave Navarro and Perry Farrell. The incident occurred during a recent performance in Boston.
In a statement released on the band’s Instagram Story on Saturday, they expressed, “We want to extend a heartfelt apology to our fans for the events that unfolded last night.”
The band’s show in Bridgeport, Connecticut, which was scheduled for Sunday night, has been canceled “as a result” of the altercation. Fans who purchased tickets will receive refunds at their point of purchase.
Video footage circulating on social media captured the moment when Farrell, the lead singer of Jane’s Addiction, confronted guitarist Navarro during a song at Friday’s concert in Boston. The footage shows the two exchanging words before Farrell approached Navarro, who seemed to be attempting to keep Farrell at bay.
The situation escalated when Farrell aimed a jab at Navarro, prompting the intervention of other band and crew members who worked to separate the two.

Currently, Jane’s Addiction is on tour, with a performance slated for Toronto on Wednesday. The tour is expected to conclude in Los Angeles later this October.
