In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Kate Winslet shared some behind-the-scenes details about the iconic kissing scene with Leonardo DiCaprio in the movie “Titanic.” Winslet revealed that the kiss “was not all it’s cracked up to be,” surprising fans around the world.
Despite the romantic nature of the scene, Winslet described filming it as a “nightmare.” She explained that she had to do makeup touch-ups for both herself and DiCaprio in between takes, as the crew couldn’t easily reach them. Additionally, the different makeup colors they were wearing made the kissing “a mess,” leaving Winslet looking like she had been “sucking a caramel bar” after each take.
