The latest round of the Championship League in Leicester saw Thepchaiya Un-Nooh and Jackson Page advance to the last 32, showcasing some impressive century breaks along the way. Un-Nooh, known for his speed on the snooker table, secured wins against Mark Joyce and Julien Leclercq, while also drawing against Daniel Wells to top Group 32 with an unbeaten record and seven points. His standout performances included breaks of 106 and 104 against Leclercq, putting him two points ahead of Wells in the standings.

Meanwhile, Page’s crucial break of 127 in his victory over Robert Milkins helped him edge out Andrew Higginson as the winner of Group 10, with both players finishing on five points and equal frame difference. Page had previously drawn his matches against Higginson and Iulian Boiko, but his win over Milkins proved to be the deciding factor in advancing to the next round. The action at the Mattioli Arena was intense, with players vying for a chance to move forward in the tournament.

As the tournament progresses, players like Crucible qualifiers Dominic Dale and Jamie Jones are set to compete on the sixth day of the event. The format includes eight group winners who will then face off in two additional groups, with the ultimate goal of reaching the final. The overall prize money of £33,000 is up for grabs for the winner, along with a coveted spot in the Champion of Champions event later in the year, which offers an additional £12,500 for qualifying players. The stakes are high, and the competition is fierce as players battle it out on the green baize.

Among the latest group winners in the Championship League are Neil Robertson, Ryan Day, Mark Williams, Chris Wakelin, Matthew Stevens, Ashley Carty, Michael White, Joe O’Connor, Jackson Page, and Thepchaiya Un-Nooh. These players have demonstrated their skills and determination in their respective groups, showcasing the competitive nature of the tournament. The level of play is top-notch, with each player aiming to secure victories and advance to the next stage of the competition.
