In a recent teaser trailer for “Captain America: Brave New World,” the Red Hulk is shown battling it out with Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson. Fans of the comic book will recognize the character, but no spoilers have been revealed as to who becomes the Red Hulk.
Wilson has taken on the role of Captain America after Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers in the 2021 Disney+ series “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.” This will be Mackie’s first film as Captain America, and he is giving it his all in the intense action scenes.
The trailer also introduces a new villain played by Giancarlo Esposito, who is seen firing an automatic weapon. Additionally, Harrison Ford is featured in the film as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, the president of the United States. Ford takes over the role from the late William Hurt, who passed away in 2022.
Mackie has promised “a clear reset” with this new film, stating, “It really reestablishes the idea of what this universe is and what this universe is going to be.” The Marvel universe is eagerly anticipating the film’s release on February 14, 2025.
