In a recent TikTok video, “Clueless” star Alicia Silverstone caused concern among her followers when she took a bite of a mysterious fruit she found while strolling in the UK. Speculations arose that the fruit could be poisonous, resembling the nightshade plant Solanum pseudocapsicum.
After Silverstone’s social media went quiet, worrying some of her fans, she took to Instagram to reassure everyone of her well-being. In a post on Tuesday night, she shared a photo of herself with the caption, “Alive and well! Don’t worry… I didn’t swallow.”
Thankfully, Silverstone avoided any harm by not consuming the potentially poisonous fruit she found on the street.
