Donald Glover Postpones Remaining North American Tour Dates Due to Health Issues
In a recent announcement, Donald Glover has revealed that he is postponing the remaining North American dates of his final tour as Childish Gambino, citing health-related concerns.
“Unfortunately I have to postpone the rest of the north american tour to focus on my physical health for a few weeks,” Glover stated in a message shared on his X page. He expressed gratitude for the understanding of his fans, saying, “Thanks for the privacy. thanks for the support. thanks for the love.”
Ticket holders are advised to keep their tickets, as they will be valid for the yet-to-be-announced rescheduled dates.
Originally set to conclude on October 3 in Chicago, the North American leg of the tour is expected to continue on to Europe in November.
CNN has reached out to a representative for Glover for additional comments regarding this decision.
The postponement follows Glover’s previous announcement that Sunday’s concert in Houston was also being delayed "due to illness." Additionally, he had to reschedule a concert in August due to “production issues.”
In June, Glover disclosed plans to retire his musical identity as Childish Gambino, telling the New York Times that it was "not fulfilling."
This summer, the actor and musician released his fifth and final Childish Gambino album titled “Bando Stone & the New World” in July.
