On a recent episode of “Live With Kelly and Mark,” “America’s Got Talent” judge Howie Mandel shared a horrifying incident that occurred with his wife, Terry Mandel, in their Las Vegas hotel room. Mandel recounted how his wife, who was “tipsy,” slipped and fell, hitting the wainscoting, breaking her cheek, and opening up a gash on her forehead.
Mandel described the scene as he turned on the light and saw his wife lying with her “blood pooling” around her head, with her skull visible. He shared a photo of the aftermath, showing Terry Mandel with a bloody and blackened eye.
“I freaked out,” Mandel said. “I picked her up, I put her on the bed. There’s blood everywhere. I went and grabbed all the towels, and all the towels are covered with blood. And she’s going, ‘Get me ice. Get me ice.’” He resorted to using cold soda cans from the mini fridge before rushing his wife to the hospital for emergency care.
Thankfully, Terry Mandel is now doing better and does not have any scarring from the incident. The couple, who have been married since 1980, share three children: a son, Alex, and daughters Jackie and Riley.
