In breaking news, Justin Timberlake, the famous singer, has announced his return to the stage. Despite being arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated in Sag Harbor, New York, on Tuesday morning, Timberlake is still scheduled to perform at the United Center in Chicago on Friday and Saturday as part of his “Forget Tomorrow” world tour.
According to Sag Harbor Police, Timberlake was seen around 12:37 a.m. “operating his vehicle in an intoxicated condition,” driving a 2025 BMW. He allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign and maintain his lane of travel. Timberlake claimed he “had one martini and followed my friends home,” as per court records, but officers described him as “unable to divide attention” and performing poorly on sobriety tests.
Despite rejecting a chemical test multiple times, Timberlake was eventually arrested and held overnight for arraignment. He was released without bail, and his next court appearance is scheduled for July 26. CNN has reached out to Timberlake’s representatives for comment on the incident.
Following this weekend’s performances, Timberlake is set to continue his tour with shows at Madison Square Garden in New York on June 25 and 26. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.
