Rugby legend Kevin Sinfield has embarked on yet another remarkable journey, raising over £1 million for motor neurone disease (MND) research after successfully completing an impressive 230-mile (approximately 379 kilometers) run. The endeavor, which lasted a week, began in Liverpool last Sunday and concluded at his home in Saddleworth. This staggering achievement was dedicated to his late friend and teammate Rob Burrow, who tragically passed away from the illness in June, leaving a profound impact on the rugby community and beyond.
Despite suffering from a muscle injury sustained in November, Sinfield was determined to honor Burrow’s memory through this fundraising run.
