The activist, Lauren Windsor, also recorded a conversation with Chief Justice Roberts, where he disagreed with the idea of the Supreme Court guiding the US as a Christian nation. The Alitos, particularly Martha-Ann Alito, expressed frustration with media coverage and criticism, specifically regarding flags raised at their properties. Martha-Ann Alito also mentioned her desire to raise a Sacred Heart of Jesus flag in response to a Pride flag nearby.
The recordings have sparked controversy, with the executive director of the Supreme Court Historical Society condemning the surreptitious recording of the Justices. The release of the recordings has raised questions about privacy and ethics within the Supreme Court.
