The beloved television stars from hit shows such as “Strictly Come Dancing,” “Outnumbered,” “Doctor Who,” and “Gladiators” are rallying together to support the annual Children in Need campaign, which is set to broadcast live on BBC One. The highly anticipated event aims to fundraise for disadvantaged children and young people throughout the UK, continuing the initiative’s long-standing legacy of charitable giving.

On **Friday**, the spectacular three-hour show will feature an exciting lineup that combines comedy, music, and celebrity appearances. Among those participating are acclaimed presenters **Graham Norton, Kylie Minogue, Girls Aloud, Gary Oldman**, and **Hugh Bonneville**. This vibrant program is designed to entertain audiences while simultaneously raising money for a noble cause.

In a showcase of determination and commitment, **Paddy McGuinness**, a presenter on **BBC Radio 2**, will join the festivities, having just completed a remarkable five-day cycling challenge. Riding a children’s **Chopper bike**, McGuinness’s journey began in **Wrexham**, culminating in **Glasgow** and raising over **£7.5 million** for Children in Need. Not only did he undertake this arduous task, but he also aims to uncover his final fundraising total during the live broadcast of the appeal, demonstrating the importance and impact of this charity.

Having been inspired by the beneficiaries of BBC Children in Need projects, the **Bolton-born** star expressed his motivation to embark on this challenge and the profound influence of the charity. His journey is not merely an individual effort but acts as a conduit to highlight the various projects funded by Children in Need, helping those in genuine need across the country.

This year’s appeal will be hosted by a fantastic trio consisting of **Ade Adepitan, Chris Ramsey**, and **Rochelle Humes**, alongside co-hosts **Vernon Kay**, **Mel Giedroyc**, and **Lenny Rush**. The program promises to deliver multiple highlights, with a sneak peek of the Christmas special of **Doctor Who**, presented by its new star, **Ncuti Gatwa**.

The cherished family from the hit sitcom **Outnumbered** will reunite for a special comedy sketch, teasing an upcoming festive special, while the stars of **Gladiators** are set to grace the stage. Additionally, performers from **Strictly Come Dancing** will delight viewers with a special appearance alongside the animated character **Bluey**.

An especially emotional highlight will be the premiere of the **Children in Need single**, a reimagined version of **Girls Aloud’s** classic “I’ll Stand By You,” featuring a poignant lead vocal from **Sarah Harding**, a member of the band who sadly passed away. The original version of this song was released as part of the charity campaign in **2004**. This new iteration, utilizing a previously unreleased solo recording, along with unseen archive footage, will undoubtedly strike a chord with viewers and fans alike, evoking memories and honoring Harding’s legacy.

Adding stars to the lineup, Oscar-winning actor **Gary Oldman** will read a bedtime story on **CBeebies**, hoping to offer warmth and encouragement to families watching.
