Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson Remembers Life as Matt Damon’s Scene Partner at Harvard!

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson recently shared a lesser-known anecdote from her past, shedding light on her connection to future Hollywood star Matt Damon during their time at Harvard University. In an interview with “CBS Sunday Morning,” Jackson revealed that she and Damon, who was a year ahead of her, were paired as scene partners in a drama class.

Reflecting on the experience, Jackson remarked, “He’s not going to remember this, of course,” when discussing their performance of a scene from “Waiting For Godot.” She continued, “The reason why I remember it is because he was already kind of well-known around campus and off campus, so it was kind of exciting to be his scene partner for a particular class.”

According to Jackson, the scene left a positive impression on her. “At the end, the professor said, ‘Ketanji, you were very good. Matt, we’ll talk,’” she recalled, expressing her amazement at being recognized for her performance. “I was like, ‘Oh my god, I was better than Matt Damon in a scene.’”

In a separate statement to the Associated Press in 2022, Damon, who did not graduate from Harvard, acknowledged Jackson’s recollection but admitted he could not remember their performance together. He replied with enthusiasm, saying, “That’s so cool!”
