A spaceship-like vehicle reportedly heading to a festival in New Mexico was pulled over for at least the second time, according to highway patrol officials in Oklahoma. The officials shared Facebook photos of the rare car, noting, “It’s not every day you pull over a UFO.” The Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Ryan Vanvleck pulled over the “UFO” on Monday for having an “obstructed tag,” as mentioned in the post. Vanvleck even took a selfie with the unique-looking car.
The “UFO Festival,” to which the driver of the space vehicle is apparently heading, is scheduled from July 5th through the 7th. The festival aims to celebrate the fascination with extraterrestrial phenomena and embrace the wonders that await beyond the stars, as stated on the event’s website. Participants can engage in the “AlienFest” film screenings and experiences at the International UFO Museum and Research Center located in Roswell, New Mexico.
Missouri deputies seemed to have pulled over the same person operating the vehicle during a traffic stop on the interstate last Friday. The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office officials wrote in a Facebook post, “These friendly humanoids, who have come in peace, are heading west to Roswell, NM for a festival.” The encounter was described as “out of this world” by the officers.
During the traffic stop, the driver was spotted committing a lane violation, and the vehicle had an expired license plate from Indiana, according to the sheriff’s office. The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office’s Public Information Officer and Undersheriff Major Adam Carnal stated in an email to Fox News Digital, “With the wind/traffic of the interstate plus the size and aerodynamics of his vehicle, he understood that the potential for lane violations existed.” The driver was provided with a written warning for the violations.
Carnal further added, “Given the good nature of the driver and the interesting nature of the vehicle, we opted to provide a fun social media post for our community. It was a great interaction and we wished him safe travels to his destination.” Fox News Digital contacted the Oklahoma Highway Patrol for comment on the incident but did not receive a response.
Overall, the sightings of the spaceship-like car heading to the UFO Festival in New Mexico has sparked curiosity and amusement among both law enforcement officials and social media users. The vehicle, with its unique design and extraterrestrial theme, has certainly caught the attention of many, making it a memorable encounter for those involved. The driver’s journey to celebrate the wonders of the universe at the festival reflects a shared interest in exploring the unknown and embracing the mysteries of outer space.
